Comparing side by side notebook files

Hello experts, I was wondering if anybody has made a program to compare side by side two different versions of a notebook. Since notebooks are text files, it is clearly possible with a good editor. However, using the FrontEnd capabilities would make the comparison much more convenient. Any hint ? Thanks, JCC
