eq1 = a1 + b1 == Sin[fi];
eq2 = a2 + b2 == Cos[fi];
Solve[{eq1, eq2, Sin[fi] == t Cos[fi]}, {t}, {fi}] (* fi not to appear in
solution*)
Out[51]=
{{t -> (a1 + b1)/(a2 + b2)}}
