If you are using a Macintosh, you may be interested in Thorsten Lemke's
Graphic Converter, which has the capability of displaying images in
succession on a black background for a fixed length of time that you can
set.  You will need to have Mathematica store your images in GIF format
(use Export, not Display; the latter is buggy) in a single folder, but
this is easy to do.  Graphic Converter is shareware, nicely priced for
an artist's budget, and can be found at
