Dear Mathgroup Members, sorry my mail contained a small error with huge consequences. In the second sentence the word constraint is missing. The correct sentence is: "The special problem ist that the simple constraint y = 1-x.x > 0 where x is (x1,x2...,xn) must hold. Without this word it is almost impossible to undesrstand the question.
