FileNames["*",...] and system files

I am using Mathematica in sw eng application and discovered that FileNames[] does not return the names of system files. (under windows, it does not return DLLs, syslogs etc..). Anyone knows how to work around that problem and get those files too? Thanks, Luc Barthelet Maxis/EA The Sims Online
