Dear Alejandro,
of course, the Mathematica Book included in the
Mathematica software and the on-line help give
you *exhaustive* information. READ IT!

Just type 'Compile' in the online help dialog box.

Of course, also functions with vector or matrix
(and tensor) arguments can be compiled.
The only restriction is that they are arrays of
numbers (real, integer) or boolean values (True, False).

Best regards,
	Johannes

Is there anyone there that can tell me what kind of functions can be
compiled? what are the general procedures? If possible some example
of non-trivial functions, like functions whose inputs are lists and so
on?

THNX a lot,

Alejandro
