Hi,

I'm sure this issue has been dealth with before, but I haven't had much success in tracking it down in the mathgroup archives.

I frequently need to use Mathematica graphics for PowerPoint slideshows. Many times I notice that when printing these slides to some HP printers, there are extraneous characters in the titles and labels of the graphs. On some Windows systems, these extra characters also appear on the screen in PowerPoint. This does not occur in all systems and on all HP printers, but it does in the majority of ones that my company uses (we are Windows 2000). From past posts, I think this is related to some problem with embedded Math fonts, but I cannot recall the specifics.

Is there some way of ensuring that these problems do not occur. Unfortunately I cannot use a solution that requires loading fonts on every system that might view the PowerPoint slides.

If my post is not detailed enough, please let me know.

Thanks,

-Mark
