Hello Dimitris. That works but the newly created notebook is created at the center of the screen. Hate to be picky but the most convenient way I've found to use Mathematica is to have the notebook and BasicInput palette fill the screen with the notebook on the left and the palette on the right. Anyway to create the notebook with the top left corner at the top left corner of the Mathematica window? Also, anyway to change the setting for File->New menu item to create the new notebook this way? When I go into Notebook Options->WindowProperties->Window Size, this does not seem to have any effect on new notebooks.
