Hi Will,

what do mean by "fit the plane to the xz axis"? Does it mean that you 

intreprete your data tripples differently,  the first and last beeing 

independent and the middle one the dependent variable? This can be done 

by simply rearranging your data:

dat1[[All,{2,3}]]= dat[[All,{3,2}]]
