Everything looks fine in the messages that I sent to myself but once I receive it via the MathGroup all = are replaced by ==. Although, I have seen this happen to messages posted by many others (e.g Sseziwa Mukasa, Thomas Garza and some others) I have not been able to discover any regularity. At first I thought it is happening to people using Apple's Mail.app but now I think I have some evidence that this is not the case (?) In any case, looking back at my posts that I have sent this ear I see that this phenomenon stated after March 2010. Only posts I sent after that date appear to be affected. But from now on I will do a search for ==== in all posts and check with the authors first before sending them out - moderator]
