Short Comments on Mathematics from a New Member, by Jonathan Covington.

Abstract. To be announced.

Image Processing from a live Webcam using Mathematica, by Nicholas Mecholsky.

Abstract. We'll see an application of Mathematica's ImageConvolve that allowed a continuous logging of the water level in a meter that was monitored from a webcam. Using only the web address of the webcam and Mathematica's powerful built-in image processing, we can see how one might build a quick application that has real value.
