I'm trying to do something as simple as reducing k!/(k+1)!
which should reduce to k+1

I've tried Simplify, Expand, Reduce, etc., and I can't figure
it out. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm using Mathematica 2.0, on a NeXT platform.

Please respond privatly, as I'm not on the list right now.

Thanks in advance
