Can you help me to find the optimal way to divide material (rail) so the scrap
of material will be as little as possible. My company manufactures
special trackwork. We are using two kinds of rail: 78 and 39 foot long.
We have to cut small pieces of rail from 10 to 39 foot. There are many
of combinations. Is it any software which can help me with my problem?
