I have certain problems opening Mma-files on Win95 platform. If I
want to open files I handled with in the last sessions, I usually
click on one of the filenames showed in the "file" menu of the
Mathematica 2.2.3 notebook in the last position, in order to
"quick-load" them.
If I do this under Win95 a system message indicates me that the
correspondig file does not exist and asks if I want to create it.
Opening via "file" menu "open" and searching the name in the di-
rectory and disk windows is the way to bypass this problem.
This quick-load option might be disturbed in Win95 because of the
upper- and lowercase possibilities in that system. I know there is
an "update" for e.g. Winword 6.0 to manage this problem. Is there
a similar add-on for Mma 2.2.3 for Windows?
I know, it is a minor problem because you can solve it by conventional
file opening procedures. But if there is a solution for this, I would
appreciate it very much.
Thank you in advance for good solutions :)
Bye!
