I have the book you refer to. There is no software but rather
examples of how to do each of the types of problems within the
textbook. The manual is very usefull for the beginner with
mathematica because it shows how to write the programs and fxns that
are used. There is also a maple version of the manual . The
mathematica manual is published by John Wiley and Sons with ISBN
0-471-11719-6 and the maple manual has ISBN 0-471-31126-X
