Dear netters. May be you can help with the following problem: A measurement yields a set of data representing a 3-dimensional surface over an 300 x 80 area. Now we want to partial differentiate this surface and plot the result. This should not only be possible in the direction of the main axes (x, y) but although in the direction of specified angles (e.g. 45 ). My questions is: - How can we do this? Are there any existing programmes or add-ons to existing programmes? If you can help, please email to: ralf.oestereich at chemie.uni-regensburg.de In the case of general interest, I will sum up and post the results to this newsgroup. Thank you very much in advance!
