I'd like to bring people's attention to the latest results of Karl Unterkoffler's benchmark for MMA 3.0. According to the results presented there, a Pentium Pro @ 200mhz is almost twice as fast under NextStep 3.0 as it is under NT 4.0. Anybody knows why? Is the NextStep version optimized for the P5, P6? How can there be such a difference? Comments anybody? // // Harold Roussel email: roussel at physics.mcgill.ca // Ph.D. student phone: (514) 398-6506 // High Energy Physics // McGill University, Montréal, Québec // // Using OS/2 Warp and NT 3.51. // // "Mais je vais être frénétique et fulminant, il me faut une armée entière à // déconfire.
