I frequently convert Mathematica 2.2 notebooks to 3.0 notebooks without any trouble on an 8600 running Mac OS 8. I'd be surprised if it has anything to do with the new OS since many of the notebooks I convert are ones I have had lying around since I was using 2.2 on an 8100 running 7.X. \\\|/// Gary L.
