Hi Krzysztof,
  the only solution for MS-Windows is my PNGBitmap package It read &
write Portable Network Graphics into the kernel. You need a conversion
porgram to bring Your Windows Bitmap's into the PNG  format (PaintShop
4.x, PhotoPaint, PicturePublisher ...). In contrast to the bmp format
PNG uses compression that will save diskspace.
