Question about the ViewCenter option

Mathgroup,
ViewCenter is an option for SurfaceGraphics and Graphics3D that give
scaled coordinates of the center of the final image. Its default
setting is Automatic.
If a SurfaceGraphics or Graphics3D object is computed with
ViewCenter->Automatic, is there a way to get the actual scaled
coordinates of ViewCenter that Mathematica is using for that object?
