Notebook flicker while Print[] ing

Hi All,

Is it just my system or does everyone using the Mathematica front end (under
Windows) have their notebook flicker each time some output is Print[]ed.

To be clear, the output is being Print[]ed off-screen.  Very
frustrating if you are trying to read some earlier code while another
section is running.
Is there is a way around this?
If nor then for the next release...? :)
