I need to find Killing vectors of a given metric. Does anyone know
Mathematica packages (or algorithms in general) that do the trick? Killing's
equation is a coupled system of partial differential equations, so DSolve is
not of much help here (or is it?). The commutator of two Killing vectors may
give a new one. But when to stop searching?
Thanks for any help,
Urs Schreiber
