Just thought that I would mention that my problem is solved. I sent a
message to the sawfish list and the lead developer told me that there
was a bug in versions prior to 0.35 that caused certain windows to
trigger an infinite loop in sawfish. As long as you've got a version >=
0.35, all is well and good.
