The Help Browser says:

Select[list, crit] picks out all elements ...

Now this works fin for other Haeders thal List 
too.

Select[Expand[P], ! NumberQ[#] &] removes the
absolute Part of the Poynomial P 
(in my Version).

Is this a dangerous Way of Programming?
