The book Mathematica Graphics by Tom Wickham-Jones,
(on pages 428-430) gives an excellent example (along
with the Mathematica code)
of the intersection of, or distance between,
two straight lines in 3D space.

Alternatively, consult any text on analytic geometry.

Your example has the obvious answer of zero,
as they intersect, having the common point of {0,0,0}.

 Hi.

Assume that I've got to vectors (3,4,5) and (6,7,8).How do I
 calculate the distance between them?

 Thanks in advance.
