Hi, I can do that, though I don't know whether in a good (high quality) way as follows: Open the gif (or any other graphics) with Paint (in Windows...sorry), then select it and Ctrl C. Go to Mathematica an paste it. This is really not "importing" but is that too bad? Bye.
