FYI - Epidemiologists who are using Bayesian estimates for data smoothing
with GIS, an open access article has just been published (August 26, 2004)
in International Journal of Health Geographics which provides a modification
to overcome the inability of a Bayesian approach to take into account
spatial autocorrelation.
