Forget about MultipleListPlot and having to learn its convoluted and 
confining syntax and requirements.   Instead, learn to use

   Needs["Graphics`Graphics`"];
   DisplayTogether[ . . . . . . . . ]

and you can easily shape whatever you want, and understand what you're 
doing.
