Thanks to all for data and remarks. It seems to me that the "average
Mathematica enthusiast of present day" works with systems of BenchmarkValue =
1.0.

I would be interested if anyone is above 2.0 ?  Is there anybody in
this group working on processor   "Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800  (current
price $999) or  "AMD Athlon 64 FX-62" (current price  $827) or anything
similar?

Here are the data sent to me joined by WRI's benchmark systems
(somebody in this group has suggested that "2 p" in the computer name
denotes "dual processor" in WRI's native cryptic language):
