what is the latest version? how can i verify that I have the latest one?

What is a reliable way to check the number of the latest version of
Mathematica that is available? I just downloaded Mathematica 6 for Linux,
which turned out to be 6.0.0. I was anticipating that 6.0.1 would be
available by now (with attendant bug fixes). Is there a way to get a
list of the latest released versions for each platform? Thanks much.
