Perhaps you are right Murry.  Thanks for your thoughts.

However, as a long time WR customer, I am describing my own
experience.   If your experience is different, that is another good
data point.

However, I still claim that QC and technical support have slipped with
the recent release.  The kindest interpretation I can put on it is
that 6.0 is a major release and the company was not prepared for the
new business or the problems that the release might bring.

When I pay additional $$$ for support and write an email asking how to
download the new release to technical support, I don't expect to get
back an email after three days saying they were not the correct
department and that they were transferring the request to some other
part of the organization.

Further, after I download the new product I don't expect the first
thing I try to expose a sloppy bug in the documentation.  The
documentation for exchanging materials with the web references

The page no longer exists at the wolfram website.

The error is minor.  However my experience with WR is that their QC
has been a lot better.
