Hello, I am trying to fit a hyperbola to data sets using
NonlinearFit. For many data sets, it's working perfectly, but for
others it chooses the "wrong" hyperbola. I believe if I could put a
lower bound on one of my parameters, my problem would be fixed.
(Seeding with different values hasn't quite fixed the problem.) Is
there a way to place a lower bound on a parameter in Mathematica 5.2?
Thanks so much!
