I have both 5 and 7. I needed to order 5 so that I could export anywhere near useable 3d eps graphics. Version 7 has other problems, such as special functions not evaluating correctly, and being unable to chose sample points in plots when exponentials are involved (one gets an empty plot rather than a non-empty plot).
