Daniel Lichtblau has a implementation of ray casting here: http://forums.wolfram.com/mathgroup/archive/2009/Feb/msg00519.html Regards, Sseziwa On Oct 9, 2013, at 2:10 AM, "Dr. Robert Kragler" <kragler at hs-weingarten.de> wrote: > > Does an algorithm or even a Mathematica procedure exist to decide whether a > points is located inside or outside a closed contour resp. closed polygonal line? > > Thanks for any reply > > Robert Kragler > >
