INTEGRATING MATHEMATICA  INTO THE UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM

April 22, 1995 

University of Wisconsin-Parkside
Kenosha, Wisconsin


The University of Wisconsin-Parkside and The Undergraduate Teaching 
Improvement Council (UTIC) are sponsoring a conference on integrating 
Mathematica into the undergraduate curriculum.

There will be:

* hour long talks by two invited experts
 
* 20 minute contributed talks
 
* the opportunity for participants to share their knowledge and 
  experience using Mathematica in the classroom.


The conference is open to novices and experts alike.

There is no registration fee but we would like to know who will be 
attending to make plans for the food service.

Please share this announcement with anyone who may be excited about 
spending a day with Mathematica enthusiasts.


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (SATURDAY, APRIL 22)

8: A.M.     Check-in and refreshments

9: A.M.     Invited speaker - Bill Titus, 
             Physics Dept., Carleton College, MN.

10: A.M.-12  20 minute contributed talks

1: P.M.      Invited speaker - Bill Barker,
             Mathematics Dept. Bowdoin College, Maine.

2:-4: P.M.     20 minute contribted talks

In addition to the Saturday sessions, those who are in the area Friday 
may wish to attend another talk given at the Mathematics Colloquium by 
Bill Barker at 3:30 P.M. on Friday in Molinaro D137.
