Wolfram has not yet done extensive testing of Mathematica under Windows 2000 beta 3 (we're just beginning to do this), but I can assure you that it does launch and do calculations on the 2000 systems I've seen. Wolfram does not support running Mathematica under beta 3 (keep in mind that this *is* a beta version of an operating system), although we are interested in hearing about any problems users running beta 3 have. But, even if it runs flawlessly under beta 3, there is no guarantee it will run as well on the final version. For example, this happened in Windows 98 where MS introduced a new feature between the last beta and ship which caused instabilities in copies of Mathematica shipping at the time. Should any serious problems arise in running the latest version of Mathematica on the final release of Windows 2000, we will address the problems as soon as possible.
