I am thinking of upgrading soon, but am led to believe from Web discussions
that Mathematica 9 will not run with Java 7 (under OS X 10.6.8), but only
the Apple-provided Java 6 (some have reported having to uninstall Java 7
and go back to Java 6).
Also, I run FireFox and for some time the Java 6 applet plug-in has been
reported as "vulnerable" and requiring upgrade to Java 7. But this
requires upgrading OS X.

Can someone from Wolfram please clarify if Mathematica 9 will definitely
run with Java 7 ?

Thanks
