Hi, I am using Mathematica 3.01 on a windows 95 system to do fourier transforms (fts) and compute power spectrums (ABS[fts]^2) of time series data that comes in a list form such as: {1,2,1,1,3,etc.} a very large data list (time series)! As you can see, I will get large amounts of data that I need to save to a file in both my working directory and to a 3.5" floppy in a drive labeled B. I 've spent some time (unsuccessfully) with OpenWrite, put ">>", functions, etc.. In short, how do you create files in both the working directory and the 3.5" floppy that one can send(write) and retrieve data to and from? Thanks for any help in this matter. Sincerely, Debbie Leddon Physics, UNT
